I am Tashi and travel has always been a big part of my life. Until today (status 2024) I have visited 50 countries across Asia, North America, Europe and Africa and my goal is to visit at least 100 countries before my legs don’t carry me anymore.

I am convinced that only talking to the right people at the right time can turn travel into a truly memorable experiece. Be it the nice old lady that sells tea on a Mongolian train, an old taxi driver in Azerbaijan or a group of school children in Nubia who want to see why this weird foreigner wanders trough their village, just a few nice and basic words in their native language establishes a simple but true connection.
